Aiden Yeh's 3rd year Listening/Speaking Course

From One World to Another

In connection to the listening topic that we have in Unit 8 (p.94 of Face the Issues, Carol Numrich, 2nd Edition) you will prepare a role play based on the theme: moving from one culture to another. In this project, you will write your own play. Your storyline must touch on the conflicts that arise when two cultures clash or the similarities brought about by unexpected circumstances. Your role play or drama can be presented in whatever medium you feel comfortable with. You may present it in the classroom,  in the auditorium or you may video-tape your presentation. Creativity goes a long way if you only use your imagination.

Note: Due to the fact that this class isn't a block class, many students find it difficult to arrange time to meet, rehearse and prepare for the play. This is the reason why both groups have decided to videotape their presentations.

Group 2: Romina
