Gina's Story: My boyfriend And Me

I think people may not persist in something or it may happen in the reality someday. I say that because it really happened in my life. Originally, I cannot fall in love with someone who is younger than I. However I indeed make a boyfriend who is two-year old younger than I right now.

He doesn’t have any English name, but he calls himself “Supersonic.” He studies in the Department of Mechanical Automation Engineering in our school. He is in the third-grade. And he just lives near by my hometown, Taipei City. We acquainted with each other because of my friend of Hot Music Club at school. He cannot play any instruments but both of us love to play basketball. His height is 1.84 meter. He was a leader of the school basketball team before. He
told me he always has a relaxed attitude while playing basketball even in a game. I think that’s a good attitude to play basketball. Of course, we often play it at school or in Taipei.

Because of his height, I always look younger and little. He is a nice, cute, friendly, and considerate guy with humor. We usually get on well together just like good friends. On the weekend, we will go outside to ride around with his or my classmates or we just go outside by ourselves. Sometime, we also study together to prepare exams and I can teach him English. I like the relationship between us.

Some of my friends asked me whether I still care about the age now. The answer is definitely ”yes!” I remember I had a date with his family last year, and I felt so uncomfortable when his relatives knew I am older than my boyfriend. They were shocked and looked at me with lots of big eyes at that time. It makes me feel wrong or bad especially I am the youngest child in my family. In fact, I always ignore the problem about the age when we get along with each other. I
believe that a good relationship should base on whether we get on well together but not the age. However, it indeed bothers me sometime.

These days I was thinking about my topic of my own story. Actually he strongly supports me to talk about “my boyfriend.” That’s why I decide to share this story with all of you in class.
